Angels starter Zach Plesac allowed one run in each of his two innings on the mound, walked one batter and struck out another. He also incurred a pitch-clock violation.
The highlight on the pitching side was top prospect Caden Dana. The 20-year-old right-hander tossed two scoreless innings in his Cactus League debut, striking out one batter and allowing one hit.
"Tremendous mound presence. I didn't see no anxiety. I saw a kid out there that believed what he was doing, and he got it done. He gave us two innings. That was awesome."

Zach Neto had the best day of any Zach. He collected a double and a triple in a 2-for-3, two-RBI performance. Livan Soto went 3 for 3 and scored twice.
Matt Moore tossed a scoreless third inning in his Cactus League debut.
The Angels are expected to send left-hander Tyler Anderson to the mound Wednesday for his Cactus League debut against his former team, the Colorado Rockies, at Salt River Fields. Left-hander Austin Gomber will start for Colorado in the 12:10 p.m. PT game.
