I previously informed the USGA that I will not be competing in the @usopengolf as my body needs more time to get stronger for major championship golf. I do hope and plan to be ready to play in Ireland at @JPProAm and at @TheOpen next month. Iām excited to get back out there soon!

Woods hasn't earned a PGA Tour victory since October 2019 at the Zozo Championship. The last major championship win for the 46-year-old came with his improbable first-place finish at the 2019 Masters.
Following his serious car crash in February 2021, Woods indicated that his full-time career as a pro golfer was finished, but he made a shocking return to competition for the 2022 Masters in April. After a one-under par first round, Woods struggled in subsequent play and finished the event at 13-over par.
Woods struggled in May's PGA Championship and withdrew prior to the final round.
