LIV Golf MISSPELLS Jon Rahm’s name in announcement related to forthcoming 2024 season

The LIV Golf’s graphics team misspelled Jon Rahm’s name in the opening graphic. The correct spelling of his first name was “ Jon” but instead they wrote “John” in the graphic.

The situation became more complicated during the press conference when LIV also botched his team name. X account Flushing It pointed out this error leading to the officials from the PIF-funded tour to delete the post from the social media platform. Jon Rahm opens up on facing difficulties of moving to LIV Golf

There is no doubt that the eyes of the golfing world are fixated on Jon Rahm. The current Masters champion become one of the biggest names to leave the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf. Following this move several fans berated him on social media.

Rahm has now opened up on the difficulties regarding the this move. As he gears up for his official LIV Golf event in Mexico, the 29-year-old claimed the weeks leading up to the tournament were not the easiest for him.

Speaking from the Mayakoba Resort, Rahm said:

The weeks leading up to the announcement weren't the easiest. I had to weigh a lot, basically get enough info to then make an informed decision. Even through the process of negotiations, it was just very, very deep waters compared to what I'm used to. I had to be more involved than I thought I was going to have to be. But once the announcement was made, I think everything became a lot easier. Jon Rahm on his switch to LIV Golf as per Sports Illustrated.

Rahm is now joined by his Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton. The Englishmen left the PGA Tour on a $63 million deal. Fans are now eager to see how the two will perform along with rookies Caleb Surratt and Kieran Vincent in the 2024 season.
