Here is what the U.S. Ryder Cup team will wear at next month's competition

The U.S. Ryder Cup team still isn't finalized yet -- we have another couple of weeks before Zach Johnson has to finalize his captain's picks and there promises to be plenty of speculation leading up to that.

But we did get a glimpse this week at what Team USA will be wearing, as images of the red, white and blue ensembles designed by Ralph Lauren began circulating social media on Wednesday.

Golf Digest breaks down the entire uniform, which includes polo options for the practice rounds and opening ceremony, along with specific attire for each round of the big event at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club outside of Rome.

The final date for eligible players to automatically make the U.S. Ryder Cup team is Aug. 20, at the conclusion of the BMW Championship. Of the six players currently in the position to automatically make the team, the three players already locked into making the team are world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark and 2022 BMW Championship winner Patrick Cantlay.

With the Tour Championship and the end of the PGA Tour season taking place until the end of August, fans can expect an announcement around Labor Day as to who Johnson has also picked to rock the patriotic Ralph Lauren threads at the 2023 Ryder Cup.
