Fan jumps onto course, does sand angels at Waste Management Phoenix Open
Joe Rondone/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

The 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open is one of the most fun holes in golf, in part due to its setup of the gallery and in part due to its reputation.

It’s regarded as one of the wildest experiences on the PGA Tour, with fans often blitzed and rowdy from tee shot to green.

One fan took it a little too far on Saturday.

Paige Spiranac posted a video from the course, showing a fan who had leaped from the stands onto the course making a beeline for a green-side bunker. The fan jumped feet first into the bunker, appeared to think twice of his strategy and then did a half-handstand, half-somersault onto his back.

Once on his back, he began to make sand angels.

Then, perhaps sensing the Waste Management Phoenix Open security closing in on him, the fan jumped out of the bunker, gestured to the crowd to make some noise and ran up the fairway.

You can check out the shenanigans below.
