'What's Olivia Rodrigo Saying About LeBron James' - NBA Fans Hilariously Guess What The Singer Was Talking About
Robert Hanashiro / USA TODAY NETWORK

Music mavens Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae attended the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. In the second quarter of the contest, cameras caught Rodrigo talking to McRae while staring at LeBron James.

Fans hilariously guessed what the "bad idea right?" singer was talking about.

One joked that Rodrigo was mocking James for calling himself the greatest when his team was barely hanging on to a play-in spot.

A fan hilariously stated that she was saying LeBron is better at acting than playing basketball.

One joked that she was saying LeBron is older than her grandfather.

A fan thinks Rodrigo was making fun of LeBron's hair.

Another fan also joked that it had to be about the hair.

We'll never know for sure what the 20-year-old was saying there, but Rodrigo would have been a little bit disappointed by what unfolded in front of her on that night. She appears to be a Lakers fan and witnessed the Nets blow them out 130-112.

 Who Is Olivia Rodrigo?

Rodrigo was born in Murietta, California on February 20, 2003, and is a Filipino American. At the age of five her parents signed her up for vocal lessons and later, acting ones too. It would prove to be a great decision years down the road.

After appearing in some films and shows, Rodrigo would get her big break in 2019 when she was cast as Nini Salazar-Roberts on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Despite her success on the show, she left it in 2022 to focus on her music career.

Back on January 8, 2021, Rodrigo released her debut single, "Drivers License", and her first album, "Sour", came out on May 21 that year. It proved to be a massive success, and Rodrigo has gone from strength to strength in the music industry ever since then. On September 8, 2023, she even released her second album, "Guts".

LeBron James' Interesting Comments After The Nets Game

Coming back to basketball, the loss to the Nets was one of the most disappointing games of the season for the Lakers. That says a lot too, as there have been a fair few of them in this 2023-24 campaign for them. LeBron was asked how he would get over the loss to the Nets and surprisingly said he would do so by watching the NFL playoffs.

James had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Nets but was powerless to stop them from overturning an early double-digit deficit and then running all over the Lakers. L.A. at least managed to bounce back from that embarrassing loss by blowing out the Portland Trail Blazers 134-110, and improved to 22-22 on the season.
