Michael Jordan had an incredible aura, be it on the court and intimidating his opponents or just giving memorable interviews. The NBA Hall of Famer is pretty amazing at both tasks.

Most of us saw that side of Jordan in ESPN's 'The Last Dance' documentary. The 2020 documentary helped in once again reiterating Jordan as the undisputed GOAT for most fans.

Anyway, today we are not here to talk about the GOAT debate. Instead, we will be taking a look at Jordan's interview with David Letterman in 1989. Most fans might have already watched it, where a relatively younger MJ cracked a lot of jokes and gave fans a sneak peek at his humorous side.

During the aforementioned interview, Letterman asked Jordan a question about his height. And the Chicago Bulls legend had a hilarious reply for him.

"I'm the tallest. My father is about 5'10, my mother is about 5'5, everyone else is about 5'6.5, 5'7. The milkman is about 6'7.

Looking at Jordan's face, it is quite obvious he was waiting to make that joke and Letterman fell perfectly in his trap. Although he looked a bit disgusted with the joke, he couldn't control his laughter.

As Jordan quite clearly said, he is the tallest in the family and he used his gift perfectly. MJ went to the NBA and not only made a name for himself but contributed towards the growth of the league as well. If it weren't for the soaring popularity of Mike and the Bulls in the 90s, the NBA wouldn't have grown that popular that fast.

Even after retiring from the league, Jordan still remains one of the most popular athletes in the entire world. He used his popularity and wealth wisely to multiply his wealth.

Currently, MJ is still connected to the league. He is the majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets. There is only one difference this time. As good as a player Mike was, he is not that great at owning a team, it seems. He is yet to achieve anything memorable as the owner of the Hornets. But his troubles might go away rather sooner than later, if he makes some wise decisions over the next few years.
