Kentucky basketball announced via a social media post that five-star freshman point guard DJ Wagner was named to the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year preseason watch list.
Wagner, at one point, was listed as the top player in the 2023 class and is set to have a big freshman season.
He can do it all as he can shoot the three, get to the rim and score, and dish to his teammates, picking up assists.
If Kentucky wants to have a good season, Wagner will need to be as advertised and be one of the best true freshmen in all of college basketball.
Wagner will go on to be a top pick in the NBA Draft after the season he will have for the Wildcats.
D.J. Wagner is on the @Hoophall Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Preseason Watch List.

Andy Patton wrote about the situation where Coach Calipari was accused of taking a weed eater, which is hilarious.
Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari responded to a claim that he borrowed but never returned a weed-eater from a neighbor on Sunday evening. The claim was made a few weeks ago on a Zillow listing:
“As per seller: UK fans, this house is close enough for Coach Calipari to borrow your weed-eater but apparently too far for him to return it.”
