Jonas Brothers spotted at Edmonton Oilers game

A day after the Jonas Brothers filled Rogers Place with troves of screaming fans, they returned to see the likes of Connor McDavid fill the same arena — just for a different reason.

On Wednesday night, the trio was spotted standing in a suite on the Sportsnet broadcast of the game as the national anthems were sung for a game between the Edmonton Oilers and Seattle Kraken. They were joined by others in the suite, but Kevin was spotted in the back left behind a standing bench, while Joe and Nick were seen ahead of him, in the seating area.

The brothers gained fame in the 2000s as significant of the Disney Channel television network. The New Jersey natives released their first album in 2006 and followed up with four more before they broke up in 2013. The brothers reformed the band in 2019, releasing their fifth album that year before their most recent album, The Album, was released in May.

Their stop in Edmonton for their Tuesday concert was one of 90 that kicked off on Aug. 12th in New York and concludes next June in Ireland. All in all, the tour will take them through 20 countries.

Kevin, Nick and Joe are no strangers to the world of sports, with all three being massive fans of Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees. So much so, back in April when the season was young and before the Yankees collapsed, the brothers spent the bottom half a third-inning game calling the play-by-by of a game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Meanwhile, they were treated to some McDavid Magic on Wednesday, as the Oilers superstar broke open the scoring in the second period with a streaking goal.

It’s not the first time they’ve been in Edmonton, either as at the height of their early days fame in 2009, Kevin, Nick and Joe performed at Rexall Place in front of a sold out crowd, much like they saw Tuesday night.
