Unreleased Machine Gun Kelly & Travis Barker cover soundtracks final 'Paradise City' trailer

Machine Gun Kelly is furthering his punk evolution.

The final trailer for Amazon Prime Video's upcoming series Paradise City dropped Tuesday, and it was soundtracked by an unreleased cover of Edwyn Collins' classic "A Girl Like You" by Kelly and Travis Barker:

This is a continuation of Barker and Kelly's collaborative relationship, as the blink-182 drummer served as producer on Kelly's Tickets To My Downfall album. Released in late September 2020, the project signaled the 30-year-old's switch to pop-punk from his hip-hop-heavy catalog.
"My Ex's Best Friend" featuring blackbear, the album's third single, peaked at No. 21 on Billboard's Hot 100, while Tickets To My Downfall scored No. 1 positioning on the Billboard 200.

Last Thursday, MGK dropped the music video for "Daywalker!" featuring Corpse:

Meanwhile, Paradise City will become available for streaming Thursday. The Ash Avildsen series stars Cameron Boyce in a posthumous leading role—his final role before tragically dying at 20 years old from epilepsy on July 6, 2019.
