Tom Holland chooses Peter Parker's 'Harry Potter' Hogwarts house

If you ever bump into Tom Holland on the street and want to engage him in conversation, ask him about Harry Potter.

The Spider-Man star is a dedicated fanboy of the magical film franchise and was happy to answer which Hogwarts house Peter Parker would belong to in Harry Potter's wizarding world.

"I think Peter would be in Hufflepuff," the 25-year-old actor reasoned. "'Cause I think Peter is a very, very accepting person, whereas I think the people in Gryffindor are real go-getters. They're all about the quidditch team and it's, I imagine, where all the jocks are. Whereas the people in Hufflepuff, I reckon, it's where more of the artistic people end up going to. But I also think Peter Parker looks great in yellow."

As for Zendaya's "Spider-Man" character MJ, Holland quickly placed her in Slytherin. "Dirty snake," he joked.

"Lies! No!" Zendaya protested. "Just because someone is honest and upfront does not mean that they're Slytherin, OK? I think she'd throw off the beaten path, Ravenclaw or something."

Holland then conceded Ravenclaw is possible for MJ.

While promoting "Spider-Man: No Way Home" earlier this month, Holland and Zendaya took a Harry Potter quiz with BBC Radio 1's Ali Plumb.
