Shailene Woodley calls out false paparazzi photos as 'grasping at straws to disparage' Aaron Rodgers

Shailene Woodley has kept mum on the controversy surrounding Aaron Rodgers, her fiancé, tested positive for COVID-19 last week and discussed his unvaccinated status after previously stating he was "immunized" against the coronavirus in August.

That changed Tuesday morning, when the 29-year-old actress took to her Instagram Story to call out the Daily Mail for publishing alleged paparazzi photos of Rodgers grabbing coffee in Brentwood, Calif.

"Literally y'all need to calm the f--k down," Woodley wrote alongside the photos. "This is straight up HILARIOUS. News outlets STILL grasping at straws to disparage Aaron. Finding random f-----g men on the streets of L.A. and saying it's him. I know Aaron's body VERY well. First off, his feet, ahem and no offense to this rando dude, are a LOT bigger ;)."

She continued: "Also, for those of us who know Aaron beyond the worlds of obsessed sport and s----y media, it's no secret he has the hairiest hands on the f-----g planet. This oblivious homie, clearly, does not. (Go ahead, zoom in). Also, cute car dude, but Aaron would never drive this."

Rodgers first revealed that he was engaged while accepting last season's NFL MVP Award in February.

While the 37-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback didn't say there whom he'd gotten engaged to, Woodley confirmed it while visiting "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" later that month.

You can watch Rodgers' full 47-minute appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" last Friday about his decision to remain unvaccinated and so much more below.
