Sarah Jessica Parker shares glimpse of Big and Carrie for 'Sex and the City' reboot

Carrie and Big are together again, though we still don't know why.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth shared photos of their beloved Sex and the City characters' reunion for HBO Max's upcoming revival series And Just Like That... over the weekend:

"Chris Noth has closed a deal to return to the HBO Max revival, titled And Just Like That...," The Hollywood Reporter relayed in late May. "The actor will reprise his role as Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) love interest. It’s unclear though if The Good Wife alum and The Equalizer star will be a series regular on the 10-episode half-hour series."

That came more than a month after John Corbett confirmed his involvement in the series as Aidan Shaw, Carrie's ex-fiancé who reappeared in Sex and the City 2 (2010) when Carrie had a brief rendezvous with him despite having married Big in the first full-length film (2008).

Bridget Moynahan, Big's ex-wife during Sex and the City's original HBO run, was also spotted on set of the reboot.

And Just Like That... catches up with Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) "navigating the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s" across 10 episodes (h/t IMDb). Kim Cattrall unsurprisingly did not reprise her role of Samantha.

SJP has shared several updates from Michael Patrick King's anticipated limited series over the last couple months:

Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and ran for six acclaimed seasons from 1998 to 2004 on HBO. And Just Like That... was first unveiled in January by Variety and SJP simultaneously.
