The newly minted Emmy winner, Jeremy Allen White, has his next project.

Deadline revealed that Scott Cooper, the director behind Antlers and The Pale Blue Eye, will tell the story of Bruce Springsteen in his upcoming film Deliver Me from Nowhere, with White starring as the rock icon, aka "The Boss".

20th Century has closed the deal to finance the film that tells the story of a pivotal point in Springsteen's life and career as he faces personal demons amidst the rising pressure of his success.

The film was part of a bidding war between A24 and 20th Century, with 20th Century ultimately winning out and will now shoot in the fall following White wrapping on seasons three and four of The Bear.

Jeremy Allen White has had a whirlwind year, starring in three feature films, including the Zac Efron-led The Iron Claw, and securing his first Emmy win for his role as Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto in The Bear.

Further details on the Springsteen project are yet to be revealed, but with the momentum White's been building, people will be keen to see how this one unfolds.
