Jennifer Lopez is open to getting married again: 'I still believe in happily ever after'

The official trailer for Marry Me has arrived just in time for cuffing season, though Jennifer Lopez has been happily reunited with Ben Affleck since at least this summer.

The forthcoming romantic comedy stars Lopez as Kat Valdez engaged to Bastian (Maluma). Music's hottest couple is planning to marry in front of a live audience after they perform their hit "Marry Me," but news breaks moments before that Bastian has been unfaithful. So, instead, Kat impulsively decides to marry an unsuspecting fan, Charlie (Owen Wilson), in the crowd.

While promoting the movie, Lopez was asked by TODAY's Hoda Kotb if "marry me" are words she'd like to be the recipient of in the future.

"I don't know. Yeah, I guess,"the 52-year-old multi-hyphenate replied. "I mean, you know me, I'm a romantic. I always have been. I've been married a few times. Yeah, I still believe in happily ever after. For sure. One hundred percent."

Lopez was first briefly married Ojani Noa from 1997-98. She married again in 2001 to Cris Judd, but she filed for divorce in July 2002. Lopez's third marriage was to Marc Anthony from 2004 until announcing their split in July 2011—their divorce was finalized in 2014—and they share 13-year-old twins Emme and Max.

The two-time Grammy nominee was most recently engaged to former MLB perennial All-Star Alex Rodriguez. The A-listers had begun dating in 2017, gotten engaged in March 2019 and publicly confirmed their breakup in April of this year. Lopez has since been linked to Affleck, whom she was previously engaged to from 2002-04.
