‘Good Burger’ is great, but ‘90s kids want to see these 21 other reunions

Nineties kids get a lot of flack for being overly nostalgic, but can anyone blame them? They had many amazing pop culture to attach themselves to, from movies and TV to music. Well, "had" is an interesting word because a lot of what they loved is coming back, like overalls and a Good Burger sequel. However, while they’ll always love Kenan and Kel as much as Kel loves orange soda, there are some other ‘90s reunions that they would not mind seeing either.

'The Mighty Ducks'

'The Mighty Ducks'
Walt Disney Pictures

Many of the players from the original movies came together for a viral photo in 2014, and a handful came together again for the Disney+ series, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, but there are a lot of fans who’d love to see at least one more movie where the team gets back on the ice for one final time.

When Hollywood started to go reboot crazy after the access of Fuller House, there was a cascade of other shows from the ‘80s and ‘90s that began to get some interest in regards to bringing them back. Sister, Sister was one of them, but nothing ever came of it. Many fans still hope to see Tia and Tamera back as parents, possibly of their own twins!

'The Little Rascals'

'The Little Rascals'
Universal Pictures

Several movies have taken a beloved TV series and transported it onto the big screen perfectly, and The Little Rascals is one of those movies. While the cast has gotten together to recreate the official film poster, that was not enough. Perhaps they’re getting together for Darla and Alfalfa’s wedding in a sequel?

'Freaks and Geeks'

The stars of this short-lived series are not hurting for work, so a reunion would just be fanfare but greatly appreciated.

'The Baby-Sitters Club'

'The Baby-Sitters Club'
Columbia Pictures

When Netflix dropped The Baby-Sitters Club series in 2020, that would have been the perfect opportunity for a reunion of the girls who initially brought the Scholastic Book Fair giant to life in 1995. Unfortunately, despite being a hit and garnering praise from fans and critics, Netflix canned the series after only two seasons.

‘The Adventures of Pete & Pete’

Danny Tamberelli and Michael C. Maronna work together often, but it would be interesting to see the indie style of Pete & Pete in a modern era.

'Now and Then'

'Now and Then'
New Line Cinema

In case Now and Then writer I. Marlene King is reading, here’s the pitch: the sequel follows the kids of the original women in the 2000s when they would be adolescents. So viewers would see the likes of Melanie Griffith, Demi Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, and Rita Wilson as mothers while their kids take center stage as they lead the film via their summer antics.

The Flintstones became a live-action movie in 1994, and six years later, a sequel fell flat. What the people deserve is to see the original cast, Halle Berry included, reprising these roles. Perhaps finally, deliver a live-action version of The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones.

Instead of a continuation of the ‘90s sitcom, Netflix went dark when they brought back Sabrina . Now it’s time to come back with some of that silly magic the original had. Only this time, Melissa Joan Hart’s Sabrina is a mom with a 16-year-old on her hands with new powers to understand.

The Salute Your Shorts cast is no stranger to reuniting. They’ve done it for the likes of LA Comic-Con in the past, but what about the former campers returning as tired, worn-out camp counselors of a failing summer camp?

Kendra Beltran went to college with no game plan and found herself falling back on her love of writing soon after graduating all the way back in 2009. Since then, she's written for MTV Geek, Cosplay Central, Collider, Apartment Therapy, and many other sites that allowed her to showcase her love of all things pop culture. When she isn't writing, Kendra is either hosting her show, Crushgasm, baking all the cookies, or spoiling her fur baby, Mason.
