Burnin' up! 25 songs set to heat up the summer 2021

The warmer season is finally approaching — which means, fans and critics are anticipating which tracks will be the soundtrack of the summer. 

Although we're still dealing with the pandemic as we move through 2021, the days are starting to look a little bit brighter. As restrictions are lifted, announcements of tours and festivals have already begun. 

It's still a bit early to crown which song will reign supreme during the warm season, but here are 25 potential contenders for 2021's song of the summer.

Justin Bieber is no stranger for releasing songs that fans can enjoy all summer long, his vocals alongside Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on "Despacito" had quite a hold on fans in 2017. However this time around, Bieber teams up with rising R&B stars Daniel Caesar and Giveon on his single, "Peaches." The smooth piano chords and low bass gives a mellow vibe that fans are sure to play while taking a road trip or lounging at the beach.

He got the critics talking again when he released his video for "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." On the single, Lil Nas X is fully embracing his sexuality and wants others to do the same.

As the two use inspiration from '70s soul music, "Leave The Door Open" is all about pouring out one's heart to a lover and assuring them that the door for love is open if they choose to enter.
