23 actors we'd love to see in 'The Boys'

Fans have yet to see Hughie’s mother on screen, but she’s already been cast. Toni Collette’s United States of Tara  costar, Rosemarie DeWitt, landed that role. So, since that has been taken, why not have Collette appear as a reckless aunt to everyone’s favorite Billy Joel fan?

Eric Kripke helped bring The Boys to the screen, as he once did with Supernatural. This is why many people from the long-running CW show appeared on the Prime series. However, if Kripke wanted to break the internet, he’d reunite Jensen Ackles with Jared Padalecki.

Mae Whitman can steal whatever scene she’s in, from Scott Pilgrim to Hope Floats  alongside Sandra Bullock. With that, it’d be interesting to see her take on the likes of Homelander, even if for just one quick cameo.

In The Boys, Vought is the big corporation that runs well, like most corporations in the real world. Vought will do anything to stay ahead and not lose money. Not to typecast, but Jon Hamm could pull off a guest spot as someone interested in working alongside the superhero corp.

The Boys would really only benefit from the presence of Gina Torres on the show. Perhaps another supe in DC?

Someone, please alert The Boys that Hugh Laurie would be perfect for an older supe who has since retired and lives in a tiny seaside village.

While The Boys may not be suitable for some younger audiences, it has showcased the talents of youthful stars, and they’d only be doing themselves a favor by getting Cailey Fleming from The Walking Dead. She’s already battled walkers, so what’s some deranged supervillain going to do to her?

There is something about Zachary Quinto that makes him seem like he’s ready to be an evil-doer in The Boys' realm.

When Butcher is ready to move on from Becca, we suggest casting Mary-Louise Parker as a new love interest who may or may not also be into taking down all superheroes.

Jack Quaid, aka Hughie, knows all too well that he looks like a young Rainn Wilson, so if they ever wanted to do a flash forward and didn’t want just to toss Quaid in some aging makeup, they could get The Office star to step in.

Known for her role in Game of Thrones, Nathalie Emmanuel would be stepping into a world where the level of violence is the same, but the number of dragons would not be.

Every season on Dexter, Michael C. Hall battled a Big Bad, so it’d be interesting to see him on the other side of the vigilante.

Supernatural fans won’t stop until every single one of that cast has appeared on The Boys, including Felicia Day.

The smoldering good looks of Avan Jogia would fare well against the likes of Chace Crawford’s The Deep.

Angelica Ross has proved herself time and time again on shows like Pose and American Horror Story, so it’s time to fly to a new network and be the coolest superhero the show’s ever seen.

Um, have you seen Charlie Hunnam? Yeah, that’s what we thought.

If Martha Plimpton is not cast as Ashley Barrett’s mother, then what’s the point of all of this?

The Boys cannot and will not end without a Misha Collins appearance. Even if he’s just a random spectator, it’s necessary.

Sophia Lillis might be hard to book, being that she is pretty stellar on the big screen, but if The Boys can snag the It actress, they’d be the lucky ones.

Adam Brody is already in the DC Universe, but no one would be mad if he jumped ship. 

Julia Butters isn’t a household name — yet. However, she was on the ABC series American Housewife and even had a scene in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. So, acting chops? She’s got plenty, and they’d be put to good use on The Boys.

There isn’t a show in which Sean Astin wouldn’t be great.

Dear Eric Kripke, The Boys is a masterpiece but could be even more iconic with the addition of Gabourey Sidibe.
