2000s teen heartthrobs who have still got it

As the star of the hit series Smallville, which ran for ten seasons, Tom Welling seems to be doing fairly well (I'm sorry). Tom is still acting, directing, producing various TV series, and hosting a Smallville rewatch podcast with co-star Michael Rosenbaum, but most importantly, he's still got it.

You know him from The Vampire Diaries, Lost, or perhaps even Smallville. Ian Somerhalder was and still is a certified hottie — if people still say the word "hottie." He also married actress Nikki Reed, aka Rosalie, from The Twilight Saga. Yay for vampire love!

Jesse Metcalfe will always be John Tucker of John Tucker Must Die to me, despite his long list of credits, including Desperate Housewives and even a couple of episodes of Smallville. Man, who wasn't on that show? Though Jesse's roles today don't include him parading around shirtless anymore, I think it's safe to say he's still got it!

I asked who wasn't on Smallville, and, well, Jensen Ackles is not on that list. He is best known for starring in Supernatural and, most recently, The Boys. Jensen has been killing the game thus far and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, and hey, he's still nice to look at.

Jensen Ackles' Supernatural co-star, Jared Padalecki also makes the list for obvious reasons. If you had (or have) a thing for Jared, chances are you probably started crushing on him as Dean in Gilmore Girls. If you've seen him in The CW's Walker, you'll agree that he does, in fact, still got it.

When I think of 2000s heartthrobs, Chad Michael Murray is the first to come to mind. CMM was a part of many iconic 2000s films and TV series like Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story, One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, and even Gilmore Girls. I mean, he's still so good-looking that I watched more than I wanted to of season 3 of Riverdale.

It's Aaron Samuels himself, Mr. Jonathan Bennett! Sure, he looked sexy with his hair pushed back in Mean Girls, but what about Jonathan Bennett in 2023? Yep, he is still a cutie, and because it's a running joke at this point, he was in an episode of Smallville.

You may remember him from What a Girl Wants with Amanda Bynes and Raise Your Voice with Hilary Duff and not much else, as Oliver James, who now goes by his full name, Oliver James Hutson, left his acting career behind in 2012. He's now a psychotherapist, and judging from the few most recent photos I've seen of him, I wish he were my therapist.

Adam Brody is most known for his role in The O.C. but has been a part of many notable series and films of the 2000s. Adam's recent projects include the drama miniseries Fleishman Is in Trouble and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and as we now know to be a common theme for 2000s teen heartthrobs, he was either on Gilmore Girls and/or Smallville back in the day. In this case, it's both. Is he still attractive, you may be wondering? You know it.

We all know Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl and now The Boys. Chace's hotness actually earned him a nomination for "Male Hottie" at the Teen Choice Awards. In conclusion, he was hot then, and as you can see, he is hot now.

Penn Badgley has literally been killing it as Joe in Netflix's You, but before that, he was just another Gossip Girl hottie. Penn played the love interest in Easy A , starring Emma Stone, and was Jesse Metcalfe's brother in John Tucker Must Die because the hotties must stick together. So, is he still hot? All signs point to yes.

Jake McDorman was kind of a slow burn for me, but whew, look at him now! You might remember Jake from "chick flick" gems like Aquamarine and Bring It On: All or Nothing or as Evan Chambers in Greek. He was cute before and has only gotten better looking with age. Let me just say that the beard and long hair are definitely working for him.

Guess what other attractive young man was in Gilmore Girls? It has to be Milo Ventimiglia! From playing Jess Mariano to Jack Pearson in This Is Us, Milo has had and continues to have an incredible career and still looks this good while doing it.

Raviv (otherwise known as "Ricky") Ullman starred in Disney's Phil of the Future and the Disney Channel Original Movie Pixel Perfect. Afterward, he did a few small roles before shifting his focus back to a career in theater. Since then, he's worked as a musician, documentary filmmaker, and podcaster. He may no longer be in the limelight, but there's no doubt about it: Raviv's still got it.

Channing Tatum had to be everyone's crush in 2006. After Step Up and She's the Man, no one was immune to his charm. Not only does he still got it, but he makes us laugh, thus securing a spot right here on this list.

Corbin Bleu dribbled his way into our hearts as Chad Danforth in the High School Musical trilogy and, frankly, never left. He's had numerous roles on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon and is still acting on screen as well as on stage. Corbin has also been a recurring guest star on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as himself, but does he still got it? Indeed, he does.

I was honestly annoyed by how much girls liked Jesse McCartney back then, but now I totally get it. "Beautiful Soul" changed lives, man! Jesse has had a decent acting career, his music is super catchy, and he's not half bad to look at, either. Now, that's what I call a triple threat!

Okay, we're finally getting into Twilight territory here. Just Taylor Lautner simply taking his shirt off turned people from Team Edward to Team Jacob. I know, I was there! You can't have this list without him on it.

You thought I forgot about Zac Efron? Never! Troy Bolton of High School Musical could get it then, and he could very well get it now. Well, maybe not the character himself, but you know what I mean.

You can't have Jacob without Edward. Robert Pattinson was the very definition of sexy back in what I'm still calling "the day." Looking back, I'm not sure what our fascination with Edward was about. I mean, that guy clearly had some issues. Regardless, Rob Pats was and is beloved for being so unserious in interviews and doing whatever he wanted. Today, he's "The Batman," and you know he still got it.
