Several NFL Teams 'Have an Interest' in Georgia's Zion Logue
USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars are among the teams to have shown an interest in Georgia defensive lineman Zion Logue ahead of the draft.

The 2024 NFL draft is rapidly approaching and the closer the day one gets on the calendar, the closer organizations are to finalizing their list of preferred prospects for the class. The Georgia Bulldogs have eleven total players available for this year's draft, and one of them has several NFL teams interested in adding his abilities to their roster.

According to sportskeeda, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons have all spent time with defensive lineman Zion Logue and are interested in potentially drafting him. There is a belief that the former Georgia defensive player has a large upside in the league and was "underused" in Athens.

During his five seasons at Georgia, Logue racked up 52 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. He also made 10 starts for his former team during the 2023 college football season.

At the NFL Combine, Logue ran a 5.14 40-yard dash paired with a 1.82 10-yard split. He had a 29" vertical jump, 9'1" broad jump and 4.92 20-yard shuttle.

Since the arrival of defensive line coach Tray Scott, Georgia has quickly become known for developing some of the higher-end defensive line prospects. Over just the last two draft classes, Georgia has had three of them selected in the first round, most notably Travon Walker was selected first overall in 2022.

While Logue is not viewed as one of the coveted defensive line prospects in this year's class, he still holds NFL value in the eyes of the league. Organizations are always on the hunt for a steal in the later rounds of the draft, and Logue could easily fit the profile of a desirable prospect at that point in the process.
