Georgia Lands The Best Offensive Player In The Transfer Portal And Could Come In And Take Snaps Away From Carson Beck
Patrick Breen/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Georgia has a top-three roster in the country, and on Thursday morning, they added one of the best players in the transfer portal. The rich keep getting richer.

Georgia Has The Best Quarterback In The Country

Carson Beck has been at Georgia since 2020 but didn’t see his first start until last season when he got on the field. He looked shaky at times, but in an early regular-season game at Auburn, he helped put the team on his back with his tight end Brock Browers and snuck out with a win. Beck grew up big time that day and would turn himself into one of the best quarterbacks in the sport.

Beck decided not to enter the NFL Draft this year, return for another season, and try to lead Georgia to a national title. Still, something he wasn’t expecting was the Bulldogs to land one of the best quarterbacks in the transfer portal this season.

Jaden Rashada Is Coming To The Bulldogs

Hayes Fawcett from On3.com states, “Former Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada has committed to Georgia. Rashada has four years of eligibility remaining.”

Rashada was a four-star quarterback coming out of high school in 2023 and saw three starts throwing for 485 yards and three scores last year.

Beck Will Start In 2024, But Rashada Could Bring Something New To The Offense

Beck is the starter, and there is no doubt about it, but Rashada could come in special packages and use his legs on some short distances to pick up a first down or a touchdown. Rashada is coming to the Bulldogs to sit and learn for a season before being able to compete for the starting job in 2025 when Beck heads to the NFL.
