'Offended all of the European countries,' WNBA champ Lexie Brown calls out Ice Cube for $5 million offer to Caitlin Clark

American rapper Ice Cube has offered $5 Million to Caitlin Clark to play 10 games in the Big 3 league. The rapper confirmed the news through his social media calling Clark a ‘generational talent’. The reason behind this offer; Ice Cube explained was his motive for women to play and earn money in the US itself without having to turn to foreign countries. He also believes that can make history and break down barriers for women athletes.

While the decision mostly received compliments from the netizens, a member of the league was not happy with Ice Cube’s offer. WNBA star, the Los Angeles Sparks’ Lexie Brown shared her thoughts on the offer in a recent episode of the Gil’s Arena podcast. Brown believed the reason behind the rapper’s offer was disrespectful to the foreign countries that provide the WNBA players opportunities. Brown said:

On the other hand, the 2021 champion stated that the reason for empowering women does not make sense as Clark is not yet in the WNBA. The athlete believes that the offer is about business expansion and the rapper is not being truthful about his motives for women empowerment. Brown added:
