During the game, Tyler Wahl found his stride as he dropped 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists as Wisconsin nearly pulled within range of Illinois. Wahl went 9-of-14 from the field and added a three-point bucket to his stat line as well.

Wahl has had an up and down season, much like the rest of the Wisconsin basketball team. He has had performances this year where he takes over on offense for the Badgers, but also had nights where the bucket seems to be smaller than usual. Wahl has put together a solid season thus far, averaging 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and shooting 56.4% from the floor against his competition. In his fifth and final season of play, the Senior has put together his best stat line yet, and hopes to exit the university in a big way.
