The Wisconsin basketball team is entering their final two regular season games with plenty left for the Badgers to play for.

Wisconsin Senior forward Tyler Wahl is entering his final game at the Kohl Center as the Badgers take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Wahl had a performance to remember a few weeks ago against Purdue, and has since been hunting for similar success. Perhaps Wahl can breakout once again when he gets his chance at revenge against Rutgers.

Wisconsin Basketball Forward Tyler Wahl Playing His Final Regular Season Home Game

For Wahl and the other Seniors, this game means quite a lot as it is potentially the final time the team gets to defend their home turf this season. Wisconsin basketball faced Rutgers earlier this season in an away game, and played perhaps their worst basketball of the season as Rutgers stomped them. Wahl recorded seven points as he and the rest of the Wisconsin basketball team struggled from the floor.

Wisconsin hopes to right the ship this time and take home a much-needed win against a struggling team. The Badgers are currently nine-point favorites to defeat the Scarlet Knights.

Can Tyler Wahl Repeat His Purdue Performance In Front of His Home Crowd?

Last time out for the Wisconsin basketball team, the Badgers suffered a close loss to the Illinois Fighting Illini. During the game, Tyler Wahl found his stride as he dropped 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists as Wisconsin nearly pulled within range of Illinois. Wahl went 9-of-14 from the field and added a three-point bucket to his stat line as well.

Wahl has had an up and down season, much like the rest of the Wisconsin basketball team. He has had performances this year where he takes over on offense for the Badgers, but also had nights where the bucket seems to be smaller than usual. For Wisconsin, a great performance out of Wahl could be just what the Badgers need.

Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Prepares Send-Off For Successful Senior

Wahl is the Wisconsin basketball teams’ lone Senior this year, which makes this game even bigger for the forward. Wahl has put together a solid season thus far, averaging 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and shooting 56.4% from the floor against his competition. In his fifth and final season of play, the Senior has put together his best stat line yet, and hopes to exit the university in a big way.
