Jermell Charlo has delivered a stern message to Terence Crawford before he shares the ring with Canelo Alvarez.

Charlo will be challenging Canelo for the undisputed super middleweight championship of boxing. Charlo already holds the unified gold at junior middleweight, but he's making a sizable leap in weight class to meet Canelo on September 30.

While Jermell Charlo is focused on the biggest fight of his pro boxing career, he's also in the midst of a feud with Crawford. The two have been at odds for a while and there is still no love lost. After Crawford's dominant TKO victory over Errol Spence Jr., Crawford looked at Charlo in the crowd and began trash talking.

During a sitdown interview with Brian Custer of Showtime Sports , Jermell Charlo said he'd be the one who makes the terms of a fight against Crawford if he's able to defeat Canelo Alvarez.

"I might not necessarily go back down, I might meet him at '60," Charlo said. "I might meet him somewhere. He wanna make a mega fight, I'm going to be the mega fight to make. Terence Crawford's not the mega fight to make, I'm the mega fight. Once I beat Canelo and I have that throne and I'm the undisputed champion at 168, what y'all gonna do? Y'all gonna be wondering what's going on next with Jermell Charlo. Yeah, he won undisputed at '40, yeah he won it at '47, but he's biting a little too much. So, he's trying to come fight me and what I do to Canelo might shut him up."

Charlo did admit he was surprised by how dominant "Bud" Crawford was against Spence. With that said, Charlo believes "The Truth" wasn't himself in the encounter.
