Don King’s newly signed welterweight, Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (16-1-1, 10 KOs), has now joined forces with respected boxing coach Justin Gamber, with both seemingly working in harmony to help Cobbs move onto the next phase in his career.

Blair Cobbs Teams up With Justin Gamber

Perfect Match

Respected coach Gamber will bring his technical expertise to the partnership, which appears to be the perfect fit for the flashy style of Cobbs. King and Gamber will be eager to get “The Flair” back in the welterweight mix after this extended period of inactivity since his last fight, which was an upset win against former 140 lb. world champ Maurice Hooker.

When speaking on his link-up with coach Gamber, the Philadelphia native said: “I’m really liking the way things are going with Coach Justin.” He continued:  “We’re putting in the work, day in and day out, and I can feel myself improving with each session. Together, I believe we’re unstoppable.”

Coach Gamber was full of praise for his fighter: “Blair has all the tools to compete at the elite level of boxing.”

“He’s really hungry to get back in the ring and show everyone he still has a lot of fight left in him. I’m confident that we can achieve great things together,” said Gamber.

Greg Hannely, CEO of Prince Ranch Boxing and the manager of Cobbs couldn’t hide his excitement regarding the link-up between Gamber and “The Flair:” “Blair and Coach Justin make a dynamic team, and I’m thrilled to see them working together towards their shared goals.”

“There’s no limit to what they can achieve in the ring,” said Hannely.

Future Bout Against Adrien Broner?

It’s going to be an intriguing return for Cobbs under the tutelage of his new coach, as they aim to get a place at the top table in the welterweight division. A rumoured fight with Adrien Broner is in the works, and an announcement is expected shortly regarding his next fight.
