The Michael Sam reality show is still rolling… at least as of Saturday morning.
The St. Louis Rams trimmed down their roster by cutting 17 players on Friday, but Sam made the cut once again. Teams are required to get down to the 53-man limit by 4 p.m. ET Saturday.
That makes 5 more cuts to make for the Rams.

For the second straight season, St Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has torn the ACL in his left knee, leaving the team’s fan base dejected and feeling like they are about to embark on a lost season. Well Chicken Little, the sky is not falling on the Rams season, but instead they are poised to play competitive, winning football, regardless of the change under center.
The Rams kept just two at the position last season, and Garrett Gilbert has not shown that he is NFL ready at this time. Austin Davis should not unpack his bags just yet because if a more experienced player at the position becomes available, the Rams could make a move here.
