Jared Dudley: Teammates had to make Adam Morrison shower

Former NBA player Adam Morrison will go down as one of the biggest busts in the history of the Association. The No. 3 overall pick of the then Charlotte Bobcats back in 2006, Morrison played a grand total of four seasons, averaging 7.5 points per game, although he did win two rings as a benchwarmer with the Lakers.

Though, this really isn't the story here. That whole personal hygiene thing that most of us spend our lives following. Well, Morrison didn't seem too interested in it when he was a member of the Bobcats:

When asked who his most disgusting teammate was during his NBA career, current Washington Wizards forward Jared Dudley didn't mince words:

“Adam Morrison,” Dudley said in response to the aforementioned question (h/t The Washington Post). “Remember Adam Morrison? He never took showers, he did the chewing tobacco that he spit all the time, and he wore the same three polos the whole year. This is a guy who made a lot of money, too, at that time. He was the face of diabetes, he was doing everything, he was on the cover of college games, he was (everywhere), and he was by far the worst and (most) disgusting.”

One has to wonder what exactly Morrison was thinking here. Did he just want to make sure his teammates respected his personal space? If so, that's taking it to the next level.

"He (Morrison) was playing like 30 minutes a game. Gerald Wallace had to force him to take a shower one time. Had to force him," Dudley continued. "Imagine that. Imagine forcing a grown man to take a shower. He should be ashamed of himself.”

For his part, Dudley has a history of controversial comments. The veteran once quipped that "most guys don't want to play with Kobe (Bryant)." He's also now on his fifth NBA team in eight years after being acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks back July.

Hey, at least Morrison has an excuse for not hanging around in one spot for too long.
