Flowers, 35, hit just .217/.325/.348 in a tiny sample of 80 plate appearances with the Braves last year. He racked up 1,300 plate appearances from 2016-19, however, hitting at a .254/.350/.412 clip.
Tyler Flowers has taken a non-playing position with the Braves, integrating analytics into in-game preparation. Flowers has not retired as a player and continues to work out independently.
